The first step in our optimization was to make sure that the Cheetah would work well with all varieties of paint, whether that is dark shell, light shell, hard shell, brittle shell, and even reusable paintballs. Half of our engineering staff we brought in for this task were new to the industry and have brought great experience and fresh ideas from outside influences to help bring to you eye logic and methodology that is unique to Predator Electronics. Our eye logic algorithm and processing is hands down the fastest in the industry, stock, aftermarket, or otherwise. Sensitivity was key when building the code for these boards which makes sure that whatever kind of paint you are using, the eyes will tell the board to act correctly; feeding when it needs to, stopping when it needs to, and un-jamming when it needs too, nothing more.

Addressing the use of brittle paint we have drastically reduced the force that the Cheetah will put on the feedstack when it undergoes its anti-jam sequence which some users had found was causing issues with the previous versions of code. The reverse cycle runs smoother, and for less time, applying just enough pressure on the paintballs to wind the drive cone so you do not sacrifice fast speeds when you first begin to shoot but still get a reliable and soft feed.

We wanted to make sure with the new Cheetah the battery life was greatly improved so we went to work making sure there was no drain locations on the board, and that the chip only called for the power that it needed. Making sure that the Cheetah only utilized the power it needed was quite an undertaking but we are confident you will be happy with the battery life. With our testing we found the loader able to run for great extended periods of time with no fault in performance. We still continue to recommend the use of only name brand batteries, just like it is important to put premium gasoline in your expensive sports car, make sure you only use quality batteries in your predator products to receive the best performance out of them.

The truth is most loaders on the market today are fast, but with the Cheetah you are getting something more, an actual intelligent loader that is able to do actions for you that you shouldn’t have to worry about while you’re playing. Reliability with your loader can be far more important then just blind “dumb” speed that you may get with other loaders, luckily for you; with the Cheetah you are getting reliability and tremendous intelligent speed like no other loader on the market. The Cheetah board in your Halo is the closest you can get to having an assistant helping you make sure your loader is working properly when you are on the field so you can focus on what is really important, moving up the field and getting those points.
